AcousticDesign ceiling speakers
AcousticDesign™ ceiling speakers are full-range, flush-mounting speakers with wide dispersion and very low distortion. Designed for clarity and presence, these speakers are ideal for background music and general audio anywhere in a theater complex, including lobbies, outdoor box office areas, restrooms, and corridors.
The Acoustic Design ceiling line includes models for every size and type of ancillary room. For larger spaces, we offer a high-power 12-inch 2-way full-range speaker (AD-C1200), as well an 8-inch full-range coaxial that is available either in a box-mounting (AD-C820) or sealed-system (AD-C821) configuration. All three are well-suited for large lobbies and are also designed for use as ceiling surround speakers. An 8-inch ceiling-mount subwoofer (AD-C81Tw) rounds out the low end for an even richer overall sound.
For smaller spaces we offer compact 2-way quality in both 5.25-inch (AD-Cl52T/ST) and 4-inch (AD-C42T) Models. All of our ceiling speakers are well suited for use in air handling spaces (per UL2043 and UL1480) and all are equipped with 70/100 volt distributed line transformers.
Available AD-C Accessories
The following back boxes, grilles, and brackets are available for our Acoustic Design ceiling speakers:
- AD-C1200: Back Box AD-C1200BB; Square Grille AD-C1200SG.
- AD-C820/C821: Back Box A D-C800BB (AD-C820 only); Square Grille AD-C800SG; Round Grille AD-C800RG.
- AD-CI52T: Mud Ring Brackets A DC-MR and ADC-MRS (shallow); N ew Construction Brackets ADC-NC, A DC-NCS (shallow).
